Tyler Mixter

Tyler is a managing director at Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC, working in the New York office. Prior to joining the firm, Tyler was a senior research analyst and partner at Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn (CRM), a boutique asset management firm in New York. Since joining in 2014, he was responsible for the firm's investments in the technology, media, telecom, energy and utility sectors. Prior to CRM, he worked at Credit Suisse for two years as an investment banking associate with a focus on technology, media and telecom. Tyler began his career in the film industry in China, where he learned to speak Mandarin.
He is on the Board of Directors at Restless Books, a non-profit publisher that promotes the voices of immigrant and diverse authors.
Tyler graduated from Amherst College and received his MBA with distinction from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.
