Ted Crawford
Managing Director
Ted is a managing director at Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC, working in the Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, he was co-founder and managing partner of Sweetbay Capital Management, a value-oriented investment firm. Earlier in his career, he was an analyst and partner with a long/short equity hedge fund on the Tiger Management platform in New York. Ted is also an adjunct professor of value investing at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and he serves on the board and chairs the Investment Committee of Forge Insurance, a commercial auto insurance company.
Ted received a BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
