Ted Crawford

Ted is a managing director at Douglass Winthrop Advisors, LLC, working in the Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining the firm, he was co-founder and managing partner of Sweetbay Capital Management, a value-oriented investment firm. Earlier in his career, he was a writer for Value Investor Insight, and he was an analyst and partner with a long/short equity hedge fund on the Tiger Management platform in New York.
Ted is active in academia. He is an adjunct professor of value investing in the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, and he has lectured at a number of other business schools.
Ted received a BA from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
